The final training events in the framework of the Project between MEdIES/MIO and the Ghajn Centre/Energy and Water Agency of Malta took place on 16 and 17 October 2019. Some 30 teachers participated in both trainings coordinated by the MEdIES staff, I. Alampei and V.Malotidi during which the teachers were introduced to the new four educational hands-on programmes of the Centre and their booklets that accompany the interactive wall games, on the following topics:
(a) Water Cycle & responsible water use
(b) Water management in the past (forts)
(c) The Non-Conventional Water Resources
(d) The sustainability audit of the Ghajn Centre.
The feedback received by the participants was quite positive, while most of them expressed the wish to re-visit the Centre together with their students, in order to take part in the interactive wall video games and in the hands on activities.
