The publication presents a collection of
successful case studies to spark innovative
ideas from educational centres, decision
makers, stakeholders as well as citizens and
to promote the adoption of sustainable actions.
In addition, this work intends to inspire the
aforementioned groups to take environmental
action to decrease the impact of their current
lifestyle.
The publication presents a collection of successful case studies to spark innovative ideas from educational centres, decision makers, stakeholders as well as citizens and to promote the adoption of sustainable actions. In addition, this work intends to inspire the aforementioned groups to take environmental action to decrease the impact of their current lifestyle.
Sixteen case studies of noteworthy projects and initiatives were selected from 16 Mediterranean countries, representing just a small volume of the important work already in place at a regional level, at formal and non formal education level.
The publication concludes with some key messages to inspire policy, makers, educational institutions and other relevant stakeholders to adopt and include Education for Sustainable Consumption and Education foe Sustainable Development.
MIO-ECSDE / MEdIES have contributed a case in the pubication about 'Ocean Literacy'.
